During the run up to Christmas 2007, the Hillary’s group of websites were promoted via a very large email marketing campaign. The two main eCommerce  websites, www.hilarys.co.uk and www.web-blinds.com, were promoted to not only the full database of customers but through carefully purchased email lists of thrid party suppliers. As this was the first time that the Hilary’s websites had ran an email marketing campaign, I was assigned to test the campaigns before the Christmas period. After producing a successful test campaign to 40,000 emails, the Christmas campaign was set for a run of over a 500,000 emails.

In addition to the email marketing campaign, I also managed the media agencies to run PPC campaigns, Display Advertising and incentivised Affiliates to produce a record number of sales. In particular, the Web Blinds website achieved record sales for the fourth quarter of 2007.

Email Marketing produced:

• return on investment of over 200% for Web Blinds alone
• record sales through all websites
• growth in eCommerce sales to become the main revenue stream of the Hillarys group.

To compliment the Search Engine Optimisation, the Adrenalin Jungle also has a variety of different online marketing campaigns. This includes such activities as viral marketing, social networking, banner advertising and voucher promotion. Through connecting with customers by engaging in social interaction, the Adrenalin Jungle websites (www.AdrenalinJungle.com, www.Paintball-Jungle.co.uk and www.Corport-Entertainment-Nottingham.co.uk) was able to achieve increased activity on the site and also a loyal following on their channels and blog. This included: Viral Marketing with a YouTube Channel, social networking though a Facebook group and advertising, Wordpress blog to communicate new activities and events, banner advertising on regional sports websites and Voucher code promotion.

Online Marketing produced:

• 300% increase in traffic over a 2 year period
• Online conversion increased by 2%
• Facebook advertising and interaction accounts for 30% of the online bookings.

110 Sport TV is the online sports channel from 110 Sport Management. Built using a bespoke ASP.Net content management system, the site streams live sports events to subscribers of the channel. I project managed the re-development of the site from initial brief to organising the streaming video and the launching the site. This was also an online marketing project as the site was translated and produced in Chinese to broadcast live Snooker events in China. Both the UK and Chinese (www.110sport.cn) websites were promoted aggressively using Google and Baidu PPC, banner display advertising, social media marketing and article submission.

The results showed:

• New re-developed website retained 20% more visitors with a decreased bounce rate of 10%.
• The website saw an increase in traffic of 400% over the previous tournament.
• Online subscriptions doubled for the first tournament.
• Integrated Chinese payment service provider increased overall revenue from the broadcast snooker matches.
