Monsal are an established environmental technology company that specialise in the treatment of organic waste to produce energy, via a process known as Anaerobic Digestion. They previously had a content managed website that was built in early 2004 and had not had any upgrades or re-branding. Monsal had been achieving top search engine rankings for a number of years as there was on-going SEO management and by mid 2009 the website was redesigned and re-branded. The new website was required to be very information rich to convey their expertise but also to include many downloadable papers for people to use. The new website design was built with usability in mind without compromising the quality of the information available. The result was to provide a new content managed system, re-structure the navigation to have clear gateway areas to their different products and also to have strong call to action for contacts and newsletter sign up.
